They are popularly known as bow- men of Rajasthan. They are widely distributed tribes in India. Bhils are divided into two main groups- the central bhils and eastern bhils . They belong to pre-Aryans. Bhil derived from a word villu/ billu which according to Dravidian language means Bow.
